Miami University students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2014-2015 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

Recognizing outstanding student academic achievement, Assumption College has named 549 students to the undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the 2015 spring semester.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the Commencement Ceremony held Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Durham, N.H. Students who received the honor of Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.7-4.0; students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.69; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.2-3.49.

Named in honor of the first president of WPI, this honor recognizes outstanding performance by first-year students.

The purpose of Psi Chi is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of Psychology.

The Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education recognizes students who have shown evidence of outstanding academic achievement.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average while enrolled in 3.75 or more course hours.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2014 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits. The following local students have achieved this honor:

Clemson University has announced the President's List for the fall 2014 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

This semester, a total of 144 Stonehill students are studying abroad during the Spring 2015 semester in locations throughout the world. Recently named one of the top study abroad institutions in the nation by the Institute of International Education, Stonehill has more than 200 study abroad programs in 35 countries which students can choose from.

American International College in Springfield, MA has named 448 students to the Fall 2014 Dean's List. Dean's List students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0.
